1. Who We Are
Recepcionisto ("we", "our", "us") provides an AI-powered receptionist service for appointment-based businesses. Our service connects your WhatsApp Business account with your booking system to automatically handle customer inquiries on your behalf.

2. Who This Policy Covers
This policy applies to two groups:
- Business users — salon owners, barbers, and similar businesses who sign up for Recepcionisto.
- End customers — individuals who message a business through WhatsApp and whose messages are processed by our service.
3. Data We Collect
From business users (you, the subscriber)
- Name, email, and Google account info (via Google OAuth)
- Billing information processed by Stripe — we never store raw card data
- Business profile details (name, services, hours, FAQs)
- WhatsApp Business account credentials (stored encrypted)
- Square account credentials (stored encrypted)
From end customers (your customers)
- WhatsApp phone number and display name
- Message content sent to your WhatsApp number
- Booking-related information extracted from conversations (e.g. requested service, preferred time)
4. How We Use Data

We do notsell your data or your customers' data to third parties.
5. AI Processing
Customer messages sent to your WhatsApp number are processed by an AI model (Anthropic Claude) to generate responses. By using Recepcionisto, you (the business) are responsible for informing your customers that their messages may be handled by an automated AI assistant.
Message content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing and is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
6. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following services. Their privacy policies apply to data they process:

7. Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored in the EU
- API credentials (WhatsApp, Square) are stored encrypted using AES-256-GCM
- All connections use TLS in transit
- We do not store WhatsApp message content beyond what is needed for conversation context
8. Data Retention
- Conversation history is retained for 12 months and then deleted
- Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after cancellation
- You can request deletion at any time (see Section 10)
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for AI processing

10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account from the Settings page at any time. This will permanently remove your workspace, credentials, and conversation history within 30 days.
11. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
12. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before any material changes take effect.
